Greenfields Primary School has been at the heart of the local community since 1952.
The school has very good relationships with the local community and actively welcomes many visitors to school to enhance the education of our children. Relationships with parents are highly valued as we believe that children thrive best when school and home work in partnership. The governing body also continue to drive forward improvements in the school and help to plan future school developments.
We enjoy strong links with other local schools and businesses. This, along with the fact that we are within a town, gives us plenty of opportunities for local projects.
We also enjoy going on residential and day trips; recent adventures have included a trip to the space centre, whole school pantomime trip and year 6 inspirational trip to The University.
