On Wednesday, our newly formed Boccia team played in a tournament at Isebrook College, supported by Miss Bayes and Ms McLaren.
Boccia is a Paralympic sport introduced in 1984 which involved the athletes throwing, kicking or using a ramp to propel a ball onto the court with the aim of getting closest to a 'jack' ball.
The Greenfields team, made of Therese, Mia and Tayler, played a total of 4 games and came out in 4th position out of 7 schools. Each one of the players played fantastically and should be proud of what they have achieved.
