Into Film Festival

Last week all Key Stage 2 classes have had some excellent opportunities to have free visits to the cinema as part of the Into Film Festival.

As stated on,  the Into Film Festival helps educators bring learning to life for 5-19 year olds across the UK by inspiring young people to watch, understand and make film in new and creative ways.

On Wednesday Year 3 watched Sherlock Gnomes, on Thursday Years 5 and 6 watched Wonder and on Friday Year 4 watched Rock Dog. Wonder, the film that Year 5 and 6 went to see, linked very well to this term’s Jigsaw topic, ‘Celebrating Differences’, having very strong values in accepting others for who they are and showing what an impact being unkind to someone will have.

All year groups had a great time and it was a lovely treat for their progress so far this year.
