On Thursday 4th April, 37 very excited Year 3 and 4 children headed over to Irthlingborough for their Rock UK residential. For some of the children it was quite a nerve-racking experience as this was their first ever night staying away from their parents!
The two days were filled with many adventurous activities for the children to take part in, including canoeing, abseiling and walk the plank. Abseiling was by far the most challenging, but each child tried pushing themselves and nearly every child stepped over the edge and abseiled down the structure.
As well as taking part in some these adventures, the children loved spending time together and having a late night party in their rooms. It’s fair to say that they all arrived back at school feeling shattered and ready for two weeks off school!
