A Day at Duxford
As part of the World War Two History unit, Year Six spent the day at Duxford's Imperial War Museum.
Children got to get up close and personal with a range of historic vehicles and weapons used during and since the war. A highlight of the day was getting inside the actual operations room that was used to secure victory during the Battle of Britain.
They also got to watch many planes , including the Mustang, take off. A great and memorable experience for all- ending with a play in the sun.
