Anti Bullying Week in Remarkable Rhinos

WOW! This year's Anti-bullying week has been the best yet! This year's theme was 'Choose Respect' and boy have we been doing that across school. The week kicked off with an excellent assembly, led by Miss Kenny, who really got us thinking about why respect is so important. Across the week, we have all been doing lessons and activities around this theme. The children have especially loved role plays of respect and disrespect- it really made us think about how we make people feel with our words and actions. Our respect webs were also very popular, where we each shared respectful comments (and string!) across the classroom. This got us thinking about how we are all connected and how respect or otherwise really affects everyone. We ended the week on Friday with our respect pledges, which remind us to always choose respect.
