Art Work - Kandinsky Style
In Reception the children have begun exploring the life and works of the artist Wassily Kandinsky. Wassily Kandinsky is most known for his abstract paintings using a range of colours and shapes. This week's piece involved colouring in circles using different coloured crayons and a paper plate for the base. Then the children carefully wove and threaded different wool through the plate. They created great pieces of art by exploring, using and refining a variety of artistic effects.
