Biology: Exploring Protection In Year Four

This term, Year Four Remarkable Rhinos and Powerful Panthers) are learning all about the human body. After learning about the structure and function of the skull, they conducted their own investigation to explore the effectiveness of a range of materials (acting as the cranium - skull bones) in protecting a jam marshmallow (acting as the brain!) from being damaged. The class discovered that hard, snugly structures were the most effective materials in preventing the jam marshmallow from being damaged.
