Black History Month 2024

This week, Greenfields has been celebrating Black History. This year's theme is about reclaiming narratives: telling stories of people whose stories might not have been told before. So, at Greenfields the teachers have been sharing many inspirational stories with the children including: Harriet Tubman- hero of the Underground Railroad, Bessie Coleman, the first black female pilot, and the story of the Windrush pioneers. 

Each teacher chose a story and visited different classes throughout the week.
