Book and Biscuit in Key Stage 1

This week marked the start of our alternating weeks of Book and Biscuit (EYFS and KS1 and KS2). The classes not participating in book and biscuit were simply enjoying reading quietly and it was brilliant!

The children and teachers read their books and got lost in the world of stories in our very peaceful reading environments. This was so powerful and our children loved seeing us as reading role models! It also gave us the chance to really talk about a love of reading and created such a buzz in classrooms! In Powerful Panthers, we have children queuing up to be next on the list to read books that other children have shared a little about.
