This week in Science, Year Four have been learning all about the different types of broken bones. To help the children remember the different types of breaks the children practiced recreating the breaks by drawing on their partner, with a blank label and a whiteboard pen. The children had lots of fun (as you can see from the photographs), to making their learning memorable. Mr Leach was also particularly impressed with the children's amazing abundance of knowledge about the use of X-rays and their incredible ability to work out the names and approximate location of the different parts of the body, by examining a range of X-ray images closely. We almost certainly have a handful of future medical practitioners on our hands!
