Busy Bees Farm Trip - 2023

This week, Reception had the best time at the DRET farm. While at the farm we got to feed goats, pet pigs and even brush a donkey. The cows were very curious about us! Our favourite animals were the rabbits; we cuddle a huge grey rabbit and a baby rabbit. We met the ducks by the pond and learnt the names of each of the different types of ducks. We also fed the Welsummer chickens and collected their eggs. We even used the eggs to make eggy bread! We took it turns to crack the eggs, mix them, cook them and finally eat them! We really enjoyed our farm trip and wish we could go again!
