EGGSELLENT, DR GREEN

Year 2 have been 'eggsellent' scientists over the last 2 weeks! They have been learning all about teeth and what they are made of. They even created playdough models of the layers of teeth. They wanted to investigate the effects different liquids would have on teeth, but instead of teeth, they used eggs as the shell is similar to human tooth enamel.

They carried out the experiments at home, alongside Dr Green. The results were very interesting and they really enjoyed this cracking experiment!
