Grasshoppers Making Poppies

The whole school marked Remembrance Day on 11th November at 11.00 am, and was silent for two minutes to commemorate the moment when the guns went silent in World War One. From Year 6 to Nursery, children remembered and paid respect to heroes who have given service to our country. Grasshoppers have been celebrating Remembrance Day this week. They explored paint and making models by painting paper plates red and using tissue paper in the centres.
