Greenfields' Enrichment Returns....Gradually....
Enrichment opportunities form such an important part of being a Greenfields pupil and we have been so disappointed to have halted these due to COVID. This week, however, we have been cautiously booking trips for all of our Key Stage One and Two classes with some of our familiar friends: the DRET farm at Nevill Holt, Wicksteed Park, and even going to Drayton Manor Park. Trips like these help to create positive relationships, boost each classes feeling of community and are great for everyone's wellbeing. We very much hope to return to a full timetable of enrichment for each class next academic year.
We are very lucky to work with some specific charitable foundations that allow us to arrange enhanced enrichment for smaller groups of children. We are delighted that this week horse riding, provided in partnership with the Emile Faure Foundation, has begun again. The stables the children attend is Red Piece Equestrian in Brigstock and the children will have the opportunity to learn to ride and care for the ponies there.
