Hieroglyphics and Egypt
In History, Year Two have been loving learning about Ancient Egypt. They learnt about hieroglyphics (Ancient Egyptian writing) and had a go at writing their name using the hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics use pictures instead of letters. They practiced on the playground first with chalk and then did a perfect copy in their books.
