Looking after Elephants

The two year old children in Ladybirds have been getting to know about all the animals in their story Dear Zoo. This week they have all brought in milk bottles to create their own elephants, taking care to include its features, a trunk, ears and eyes. The group have learnt the Makaton sign for elephant and they know that ‘the elephant is too big, so the class sent him back’.
