Making A Move In Ladybirds
Ladybirds are learning about different habitats on planet Earth. This term they are learning all about dense, tropical jungle environments. They have been learning how to move like the animals who live there do: slithering, crawling, leaping.
The children have been making their own parrots using handprints to fill up their jungle display board and using different tools to make marks in the themed sand trays.
Interesting fact: the word 'jungle' is actually from the word for 'forest' in Hindi.
