May Day Craft Afternoon
On Wednesday, many parents joined their children to make some lovely May Day crafts. The amazing teachers at Greenfields came up with some brilliant ideas for crafts. These included making bracelets, crowns, flower baskets and mini Maypoles. The children loved working with their parents and siblings.
Year Six particularly loved welcoming parents into their classes this week for a May Day craft afternoon.
The children pressed flowers to make book marks and celebrated the life of the bee by looking at them in closer detail to sketch them. We also used clay to make nature prints.
Well done to Nikki on your spring dragon- very creative indeed!
Year One had fun making crafts on May Day, with parents joining in. The Children were so excited to craft flower wreaths and make insects out of clay. Some parents also made their own crafts, adding to the enjoyment of the day.
