Poetry Competition

This week Farouq from Powerful Panthers and Zyna from Super Sharks had the privilege of going to Briar Hill Primary School to participate in the Regional Finals of the Josephine Hart Foundation Poetry Competition.

Both Farouq and Zyna stunned the audience with their incredible, captivating performances.   They both received exceptionally high praise from the panel of judges who commented on their confidence, understanding of their poems, individuality and their phenomenal ability to draw in their audience. Their teachers are  incredibly proud of both of them, they are both such talented performances who represented Greenfields in the best possible way.  They both worked so hard on their performances and were also so supportive of each other throughout rehearsals too- true Greenfields greats!

Greenfields is proud to announce that Farouq won the Regional Final and will now have the incredible opportunity to perform his poem at Nevill Holt in June.  Zyna was very unlucky to just miss out, but she's already determined to win next year!
