Reception Farm Trip

Reception have had a great visit to the DRET Farm at Nevill Holt today. They had the chance to feed goats, pigs, lambs and look at the new baby cows (calves). They then held rabbits and guinea pigs whilst learning about their habitats. Next, the groups went to see the chickens and ducks; the children then collected eggs and made their own eggy bread! It was delicious. Finally, they went for a mini beast hunt in the field and found lots of insects.
