Reception go to the Garden Centre

This week, Reception have had a great visit to Bosworth's Garden Centre in Barton Seagrave. The children travelled by school minibus, which they thoroughly enjoyed. On the journey, they spoke about places they recognised and what they could see. The children then had a walk and tour around the garden centre. The Bosworth's staff showed the groups around and even showed them where they grow plants, tomatoes and even trees backstage. The children then planted their own plants which they were able to take back to school. The children had a fantastic time and have been extending their learning all about plants during the 'Understanding the World' curriculum in school.
