Summer Cup

On Tuesday 'Team Greenfields' participated in the DRET Summer Cup at Grantham Meres Sports Centre. Team Greenfields competed against 23 other DRET primary schools from as far afield as Scarborough and East London: a highly competitive field. The team consisted of swimmers, hockey players and athletes. Whether in the pool, on the pitch or on the track, each and every member of the team performed to the best of their abilities putting in some great performances. However, the highlights of the day had to be: Lisa winning every event she participated in, the success of the 4 x 200m teams and having the top 3 girls athletes in the field events. A great day was enjoyed by all. Thanks to the coaches: Mr Hughes, Mr Hawthorn, Mrs Tyrrell-Smith and Miss Kabi.
