The David Ross Education Trust Summer Cup 2025

We had a fabulous day of sporting excellence at Meres Stadium in Grantham on Thursday. The incredible Greenfields athletics, hockey and swimming teams finished in overall third place (out of 24 primary schools), which is their highest placing ever! Proud as punch with their result, the children loved having their picture taken with Olympians Colin Jackson and Dai Green.

Standout performances and special mention to the boys' relay team, to Lucas (100m) and to Erinayo (100m), all of whom performed extremely well in the heats and medalled in the finals - great job! Oana gained a freestyle bronze medal in the pool, which was an incredible feat.

Thank you to Mr Hughes and Mr Hawthorn who have worked hard getting the teams 'match fit' this year, and to the children who have practised and honed their sporting skills in and out of school.
