The Gruffalo Hunt

This week in Year One, the children had an exciting adventure in their science lesson! Continuing their learning, they explored the woodland habitat and learned all about the animals that might live there. To make our learning even more fun, they went on a hunt around the school to find places where the characters from "The Gruffalo" story might live. During the hunt, the class found some very interesting choices for where these characters could live. Some of the children thought the Gruffalo might like a big, shady tree to rest under! They discovered lots of other creatures like birds and insects! It was amazing to see how much life there is in just a small area. It was a fantastic week of discovery, and we can't wait to learn more about other habitats and the animals that live there!
