The Lost Words

For the past few moths, Greenfields has been working on a DRET-wide project based on 'The Lost Words' by nature writer, Robert Macfarlane with illustrations by Jackie Morris. Greenfields choir have been learning choral compositions based on the the words in the book (which is a book of 'spells' about nature) and children across the school and the wider Trust have been producing artwork based on illustrations from the book. The performance at the Royal and Derngate by choirs from 15 DRET primary schools and art exhibitions across all DRET primaries represented the end point of the project.
