The River Nile
The children in year two are loving learning about Ancient Egypt and the River Nile. This week they learned how the River Nile was important to the people in Ancient Egypt because it was their main source of water, supported transport and trade and provided food for them. The children went out onto the playground and drew the River Nile, and all of the things that made it important, using chalk. The childrens knowledge of the River Nile blew Miss Franklin and Mrs Kenny away! Their teamwork and drawings were also impressive!
