Think Tank Fun
On Thursday, the budding engineers and scientists of Year 4 visited the inspiring ThinkTank Science Museum, which is part of the University of Birmingham campus. The museum is home to exhibits from Birmingham’s industrial and manufacturing history and included two fighter planes from World War two, a working tram and ‘The City of Birmingham’ steam locomotive. The picture you can see on the front of the newsletter is the children anticipating the massive waterfall as the tank empties on the Smethwick Engine that powered the water on the Birmingham canal system. The children were fascinated all day and they were impeccable. Well done Year 4!
