World Refugee Day
The children in Year Two enjoyed celebrating World Refugee Day on Tuesday. They explored what it means to be a refugee, what their lives are like and how we can help and support refugees who come to the UK. The children worked hard to think about what they would pack in their suitcase if they were a refugee who had to go on a long journey. They also celebrated the fact that everyone is different and that everyone is welcome through art.
Champion Cheetahs had an amazing time on World Refugee Day this week. They were inspired by Omar Khalaf and created thier own eye drawings with a reflection of a refugee's image of their war-torn country.
