Wow! Meerkats! Wow!

During their WOW DAY this term, Marvellous Meerkats spent some valuable time exploring their new topics in History, Religious Education and Science. In RE, they will be learning about Christianity, so they made their very own Christingles and discussed what Christingle celebrations involve - the children were very knowledgeable and loved broadening their minds by learning about Christianity. In addition, they spent some time making their very own toy cars that use a wheel and axle mechanism. This provided children with a valuable insight into the wheel and axle mechanism, one of the several simple machines that we will be exploring in their science lessons this term.
