Year 6 Wow!

Year 6 had an amazing WOW day, which began by toasting marsh mallows over an open fire (thanks to Forest School) and drinking hot chocolate.  Then we had a fungi masterclass - learning about this fascinating kingdom!  We completed experiments and examined different mushrooms (we have some lovely fragrant mould growing at the moment in the classroom).  The morning ended with some of the children taking part in Inuit games and some children hunting for mushrooms and learning about deadly fungi!

In the afternoon the children played table tennis and completed political artwork around issues they are concerned about.  Well done Year 6 - you made WOW day very special!
