Year Five Perform Opera

Wednesday evening saw the incredible performance of The Magic Flute at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton. Every child in Year 5 took part in this annual DRET Performing. The Opera was performed by Year 5 children from across 8 other DRET primary schools in collaboration with the Royal Opera and Ballet schools project. The repertoire was highly challenging and included songs composed by Mozart but you would not have believed it. Our Year 5 pupils were truly phenomenal, they threw themselves into the performance and made everyone involved incredibly proud.
