Year One Feeding the Animals....and other Adventures

Year One enjoyed a trip to the DRET Farm last week. Happy Hyenas and Terrific Tigers spent a day on the Nevill Holt Estate helping the farmers, George and Dan, to look after the animals. Year One fed the pigs, goats and piglets and even took time to bottle feed some orphaned lambs and goats. After a busy morning feeding the animals, Year One groomed the donkeys, Brian and Gary, and then enjoyed lunch in the barn. After lunch, Year One had a busy afternoon collecting eggs from the chickens and feeding them. They finished the day with pond dipping where they discovered some of the fantastic beasts which live in the pond on the farm.
