Year Three Design and Technology

This week Year Three had a Design & Technology day. During the day they used all the skills and tools they have been learning about in DT and Science to create moving toys. Children used wheels and axles as well as levers, pulleys and pivots to create a range of moving toys and pictures. They thought that some of their work may be one day in a place like the MAD Museum. Others thought that some of their toys might be seen in places like schools and nurseries. All children designed, created and evaluated their own projects throughout the day and even used their CAM kit from the MAD Museum to create a moving toy in the afternoon.
