Year Two Explore Materials in Science

This week in Science, Year Two began their exciting new unit on materials. To start, the children shared all the materials they already knew, such as wood, plastic, glass, metal, and fabric. They then put on their scientist hats and went on a materials hunt around the KS1 playground. Outside, they looked closely at different objects and discussed what materials they were made from and why. From wooden benches to metal fences, the children were full of questions and curiosity. They loved having fun exploring the school and think like real scientists!
