Year Two Get Stuck into Books

Every other Thursday, Year Two take part in a special reading session simply known as “Book.” During this time, the classroom becomes a calm, cosy space where children can choose any book they like – whether it’s a funny story, a thrilling adventure, or a non-fiction book packed with facts. They can read quietly on their own or enjoy sharing a book with a friend. These relaxed sessions have quickly become a favourite, helping children grow in confidence and develop a real love of reading. Which book would you choose to read?
