Year Two had an exciting adventure to the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery as part of their history topic on Ancient Egypt. The children were thrilled to explore a real-life museum filled with ancient wonders. They took part in a fascinating session where they became history detectives—handling 3,000-year-old artefacts, investigating mysterious objects, and even meeting the museum’s very own mummies! They discovered how the Ancient Egyptians lived, dressed, and ruled. It was an unforgettable trip into the past!
