On Tuesday, Team Greenfields Netball players had the opportunity to attend a masterclass, at Lodge Park Academy. The event was led by Loughborough Lightning Captain and England Roses player, Natalie Panagarry. Natalie, who most commonly plays centre and wing-defence, has 14 caps for England after debuting in 2016 against Australia and played at her first Vitality Netball World Cup in 2019.
The children spent time developing their skills through a series of challenging, yet enjoyable drills during the morning. They then had the chance after lunch to practice their shooting skills and show off their new skills in a series of games against the other schools. The day finished with a Q&A session with Natalie. It was both an enjoyable and memorable day for our netball players, who can now look forward to using what they have learnt in the Primary Cup in March.
